![]() I later can access the Ditto archive (aka file or database) to search for whatever I put into Ditto. For those wondering what this is, I would call it a "clipboard saver" or "clipboard archiver" since that's what I mostly use it for.īottom Line: With a clipboard saver/archiver, whenever I highlight text, links, or graphic images, when I press the "copy" command key on my keyboard (e.g., pressing "control" and letter "C" at same time), the highlighted material is sent to Ditto, which has now been saved and archived in my Ditto folder. I have used Ditto for years (after a program called Note Frog was no longer working). (Side note: Ditto is not an "app" - an app is a program made for a cell phone or mobile. Enter what I call a Clipboard archiver utility program. ![]() I think the most is that you can set up Windows to save the last three Clipboard entries (made via pressing the "Control" and letter "C"). Why Ditto? Well, mainly because if you are the type of person who likes to save comments, twitter posts, or other data via Windows Clipboard, Windows stock Clipboard app does NOT save that data.
